Joann Taylor Dick
(May 15, 1934 - December 21, 2022)

Joann Taylor Dick, born May 15, 1934 to Albert and Amber Taylor, widow of William Dick, died on December 21, 2022 after an extended illness. Joann is survived by daughters Karen Jones and Karla Bertagnole, son-in-law Hal Bertagnole, granddaughters Athena Stanley, Alexa Bertagnole, Abby Bertagnole, Vanessa Bertagnole (Charlie), and grandson Vincent Bertagnole, and great-granddaughter Zana as well as a new great-grandson due in the summer. Joann was a former St. Mary's Hospital credit union employee. Outside of work, Joan was active in the Gamma Beta Phi sorority. She made some very dear friends in her life journey and is survived by long-time friends Georgia, Maryrose, Joyce, Susan, Betty, and Pat just to name a few. Her greatest joy was in spending time with her grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Taylor Manor and Hospice of the Bluegrass for their care during the last few years. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the staff fund at Taylor Manor, 300 Berry Ave, Versailles, KY 40383 or donate to a charity of your choice. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Spring Hill Cemetery, 1427 Norway Ave., Huntington, WV 25705, with Pastor Jerry Matt officiating. Chapman Mortuary is assisting the family.
