Paula Jean Slone

Paula Jean Slone


Paula Jean Slone, 77, of Barboursville, WV, died Friday December 9, 2022 at her residence. Graveside funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday December 13, 2022 at Spring Hill Cemetery Huntington with Pastor J. Andrew Magnusson officiating. Burial will follow. Paula was born September 10, 1945 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Paul and Dorcas Hite Elliott. She was a member of the former 9th Ave United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Slone. Survivors include her son, Matthew Elliott Mayse of Huntington and her aunt and uncle, Pastor Donald and Ellen Walker of Barboursville. Visitation will be after 1:30 PM Tuesday at the cemetery. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
