Ilene Rose Melrose
(December 26, 1930 - December 19, 2022)

Ilene Rose Melrose, 91, of Pascagoula, MS, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022. She
was born December 26, 1930 in Huntington, WV to the late Linley R. and Elsie Marie Walters.
In addition to her parents, Ilenewas preceded in death by her husband, Robert Melrose; brother,
Linley J. Walters; and son-in-law, Chuck Stephens.
She is survived by her daughters, Rouxanne Stephens, RoAnna (Denny) Williamson, and Carol
Lynn Sperry; grandchildren, Kimberly (Ryan) McRee, Michelle (Ronnie) Fisher, Melanie (Kyle)
Gregory, Robert Anter, Kyle Anter, Nathan Doan, Austin Doan, Chris (Regina) Williamson, and
Hannah (Keaton Friend) Williamson; 8 great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives and
friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 1p.m. until 2 p.m. at Central Church
of Christ, 1316 Ingalls Ave., Pascagoula, MS. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with O. B.
Richardson and Brother Ron Webb officiating. Interment with a graveside service will be at 1:00 PM Monday,
January 2,2023 Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Huntington, WV.
