Merrille Eugene Harrison

Merrille Eugene Harrison


Merrille Eugene Harrison, 84, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. He was born February 25, 1938 in Huntington a son of the late Homer Eugene and Leora Isabelle Smith Harrison. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Willard Franklin Harrison. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a retired welder with BASF and retired maintenance with YMCA. Survivors include: three children, Terry (Brenda) Harrison of Kenova, Gerri (Calvin) Prince of Kenova, WV, and Gary Harrison (Greg Johnson) of Ashland, KY; seven grandchildren, Jared (Emily) Holley, Zach Harrison (Fiancée Kali), Courtney Harrison, Justin (Amber) Prince, Brittney (Derrick) Moore, Ethan Harrison and Eli Harrison; two step grandchildren, Drew Trimboli and Jamie Trimboli; eight great grandchildren: and his beloved dog, Max. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Terry Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
