Henry Clay Wilks

Henry Clay Wilks, 73, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away peacefully at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice December 8, 2022. He was born on September 25, 1949 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Gordon Lee Wilks and Helena N. Hudson Wilks. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helena N. Wilks, his father, Gordon Lee Wilks, brothers, Gordon J. Wilks and Raymond F. Wilks, and sister, Betty J. Perry. He is survived by two brothers, Buddy Hudson of Covina, Calif., Cokey Wilks of Huntington, W.Va., and nieces Shelly Tucker, Sherry Osburn, Robin Smeerdyk, Lisa Bannon, and Debbie Klumpp. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice house for the care and service they provided. Cremation and arrangements are through Chapman Mortuary. The family will have a private graveside service to dedicate his life.
