GERALDINE HARRIS
(May 29. 1928 - January 10, 2015)

Geraldine Butterworth Harris, 86 of Huntington, W.Va. passed away, Saturday, January 10, 2015 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, W.Va. She was born May 29, 1928 in Huntington, W.Va the daughter of the late, Waverly and Thelma Jones Butterworth.  She was a homemaker and member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Huntington, W.Va. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia McCombs; four step-children, Marsha Denise Ward, Katrina Bell, Frederica Harris and James Monroe “Buster” Harris and one brother, Michael Horn. She is survived by he loving husband, Frederick Harris of Huntington, W.Va; one daughter, Connie Butterworth of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren, eleven step-grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren and two nephews, Ricky and Kevin Harris. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church at 828 15^th St. Huntington, W.Va with Father Charles McGinnis officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time at the church on Saturday.
