BETTY LEE LYCAN
(September 22, 1934 - January 28, 2015)

Betty Lee Pack Lycan, 79 of Huntington, W.Va. passed away, Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va.  She was born September 22, 1934 in Wayne County, W.Va. the daughter of the late, Lucian and Odna Moore Pack. She formerly worked in the H.L. Green Dept. Store for Nadine’s Record Shop in Huntington, W.Va. and worked in the cafeteria at St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, W.Va. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband in 2005, Charles Wayne Lycan; son-in-law, Jerry Murdock; three brothers, Stanley, Lawrence and Palmer Pack; one sister, Helen Hayes. She is survived by one daughter, Judy Murdock of Barboursville, W.Va; one son, John Lycan (Paula) of Poquoson, Va; one sister, Lorene Dent; three nephews, Clayton Thompson, Gary Ray Crawford and Don Wiesman; her God-daughter, Terri Sue Walton and several other nephews in Virginia. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday January 31, 2015 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary; Barboursville, WV. Entombment will follow at the Woodmere Abbey of Devotion, Huntington, W.Va. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
