Obituary

Goldie Irene Bowsher
(July 15, 1913 - November 18, 2010)

Peacefully the early morning of November 18, 2010, GOLDIE IRENE RANDANT BOWSHER, after 97 full and glorious years, joined her husband and son in heaven. Born July 15, 1913, daughter of Jerry and Flossie Easley Randant, sister of Richard, Charles, James Randant, Mary Randant, Ruth Craven, Helen Miller and Hattie VanHall, Goldie is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, and son, Robert. Goldie retired from Corbin Dress Factory. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years. In her later years, Goldie took great joy in being an active member of CCCSO Senior Citizens Organization. Her favorite activities were traveling, bowling and water aerobics. However, Goldie's greatest joy came from being a grandmother to her six grandchildren; Robert (Kathy) Bowsher, Michael (Mary) Bowsher, Donald (Diane) Bowsher, Steven (Jamie) Bowsher, Rhonda (Tim) Wood, and Cheryl Bowsher. Her great-grandchildren include: Abby Bowsher, John Mark Curtis, Ryan and Logan Wills, Jared Contraguerro, and Anna and Daniel Wood. Goldie will be greatly missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing her. Special thanks to Heritage Nursing Home for loving and caring for Goldie for the past two years and to Hospice for making her last days peaceful and comfortable. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Reger Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery, Huntington.
