Michael Joseph “Mickey” Dixon, 62 of Westmorelan, WV, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Dr. C.J. Adkins. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova. Mickey was born November 2, 1953 in Kenova, WV a son of the late Ray and Lila Mease Dixon. He was a Riverboat Captain with Marquette Transportation and he attended Westmoreland Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Larry Dixon, Mark Dixon, Kevin Dixon and one sister Robin Casteel. Survivors include his wife of 42 years Jane Dixon; two daughters Jodi Biber (Eray) of Bristow, Va. and Alyson Meredith (Brad) of Huntington; five precious grandchildren Shelby Biber and Sierra Biber, C.J., Sydney and Jayse Meredith and one sister Gwen Meade (Brad) of Huntington. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday at the Reger Funeral Home.
