Herbert Paul “Herb” Robertson, 71, of Prichard, WV, passed away Thursday August 18, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Sunday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Tim Jayne and Pastor Kim Stone. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova, WV. He was born May 24, 1945 in Wayne County, a son of the late Arvel and Arvilla Nelson Robertson. Herb was a retired employee of Owens-Illinois Glass Co., a member of the Wayne County Cattlesman Association and was a Board Member of Southern States. He was was a member of the Buffalo Valley Missionary Baptist Church. In Addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother John Robertson. Survivors include his wife of 51 years Joyce Ann Robertson; son and daughter in law Paul Michael and Amy Robertson; daughter Annette Akers; grandchildren Mason Akers, Alissa, Bailee, Hannah, Shane, Clay and Kadance; brothers Glen Robertson and Steve (Shirley) Robertson; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
