ObituaryPatsy Lou “Pat” Lobo, 82, of Huntington, widow of Jaldir Lobo, M.D., devoted mother and friend, passed away Tuesday January 5, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 6 pm Thursday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Monsignor Lawrence Luciana. She was born March 13, 1933 in Jenkins, KY., a daughter of the late Herbert and Alma Smith Pendergrass. Pat was a devoted mother and friend who graduated from the St. Mary’s School of Nursing with an RN Degree. Early in her career she worked at Miner’s Hospital in Whitesburg, KY and she reentered the workforce once her children were grown and worked many years at Autism Services Center. Pat gave everything and more for her children and her extended family and it seemed there was nothing she couldn’t do. She was just as comfortable rewiring a lamp as she was sewing a wedding dress for her daughter. She was funny and always spoke her mind but never stopped loving you. Survivors include her children Judy (Rick) Berger of Louisville, KY, Jim (Kathy) Lobo, Jenny (Craig) Edwards, Janice Lobo all of Huntington and Jeff Lobo of Clayton, NC.; grandchildren Melissa (Nick) Buckman, Jeremy Ferry, Brian Ferry, Emily Ferry and Max Berger of Louisville, Niki, Danielle, Jimmy and Cody Lobo of Huntington, Rachel (Brian) Bellomy of Proctorville, OH, Ben Edwards and Hannah Edwards of Huntington, Kasey Lobo and Leah Keyes of Huntington, Anthony, Alexis and Adrianna Lobo of Clayton, NC; great grandchildren Alexis Barker and Isaiah Bellomy of Proctorville and Elijah Edwards of Huntington and extended family Cecelia Barker and Paul (Margaret) Robateau. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Autism Services Center, St. Joseph Central Catholic High School or the charity of your choice.
