Keith Morris Midkiff, 81, of Huntington, passed away Friday January 15, 2016 at his residence. He was born April 6, 1934 in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late Charles Edward Midkiff and Kathlyn Ball Jones. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Tommy, David and Ernest Midkiff. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was the former service manager at Superior Cadillac-Oldsmobile and Hamilton Chevrolet. Survivors include his wife of 54 years Polly Midkiff, his children Kelly (Greg) Meade of Huntington, Lisa (Jimmy) Dunkum of Huntington and John Midkiff of Colorado. Grandchildren Travis Dunkum, David Dunkum, Mackenzie Dunkum, Tegan Midkiff and Ian Midkiff; three great grandchildren; brother Bob (Wanda) Midkiff, sister in law Francis Midkiff, brother in law John Burcham, sister in law Rose McNeely. Special friends Greg and Teri Lynn Edens along with Danny and Marion Jones. He will also be missed by his two K-9 friends, Zoey and Kipper. The family would also like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who cared for him during his illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Westmoreland Baptist Church, 3401 Hughes Stree, Huntington, WV 25704. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Dr. C.J. Adkins. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington. Friends may call from 1pm until service time on Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
