Obituary

Robert H. Adkins
(April 21, 1948 - September 15, 2017)

ROBERT H. "BOBBY" ADKINS, 69, of Branchland, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 15, 2017. Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, W.Va., with Rev. Larry Perry and Rev. Garland Perry officiating. Burial will be in Everett Adkins Cemetery. He was born April 21, 1948, in Branchland, W.Va., a son of the late Albert and Wanda Shepard Adkins. He was also preceded in death by his wife Judith Ann Estep Adkins, one son, Robert Shawn Adkins and one daughter-in-law, Sandra Marie Dawkins. He is survived by one daughter, Kim (Arron) Donahue of Elliot County, Kentucky; one son, Albert Alan Adkins of Huntington; a daughter-in-law Samantha Dawn Adkins; one sister, Terri Lynn (Tony) Eaves and their daughter Sarah of Flatwoods, Ky; one brother, Greg Adkins of Huntington; five grandchildren, Austin (Hannah) Adkins, Levi Adkins, Ali Adkins, Braden Matheny and James Donahue; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
