ObituaryHarold Douglas Walker
Harold Douglas Walker, 67, of East Lynn, WV, went home to be with the Lord and his parents, Clarence and Ethel Walker on September 28, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Darlene Walker; his children, Trish, Johnny, Doug, Ashley, Danny, Lisa, Greg, Serena, Brenda and Nathan; his grandchildren, Shaeson, Shawntae, Hunter, Lexy, Ricky, Ashley, Elizabeth, Brittany, Tiffany, Willard, Greggory, Brandon, Kristen, Clarissa, Hannah, Mathew, Gavin, Tony, Dominic, Bryson, and Bransyn; his great grandchildren; Addisyn, Jaxsyn, Kai, Isaac, and Shaylee. He left behind his sibling, Juanita, Mike, Gilmer, Betty, Helen, Earl, Myrtle, and Verlin; mother-in-law, Kesselene and Ed, and many wonderful family and friends. He was a humble man and a hard worker. Harold spent his life providing for his family by farming and logging. He worked for ANR. He taught his children the meaning of God, family, love, respect, working hard and honesty. He greeted everyone with a smile and open heart. He loved his wife, family and animals beyond measure. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Monday at Bethlehem United Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at Bethlehem United Baptist Church, by Pastor Jamie Clay and Pastor Garland Perry. Burial will be in Cedar Cliff Cemetery, East Lynn, WV. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements. The family thanks everyone for their kindness, especially aunt Jean who was always there to help. We love you dad, we will see you in Heaven.
