Mary Elizabeth Dean Ferguson
(July 30, 1920 - September 17, 2017)

MARY ELIZABETH DEAN FERGUSON, 97, of Catlettsburg, Ky., passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, W.Va., with Rev. Ron Burnsworth officiating. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery. She was born July 30, 1920, in Hamlin, W.Va., a daughter of the late John L. and Lema Catherine Edwards Dean. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wyatt Dencil Ferguson, one daughter, Karen Gail Ferguson Black, and one son, Larry Dean Ferguson. She is survived by four daughters, Kay Ferguson and Cathy Ann Ferguson, both of Catlettsburg, Ky., Cuma Mitton of West Chester, Pa., and Deborah Finley of Florida; four sons, William Ferguson of Ashland, Ky., Robert David Ferguson and Randall Ferguson, both of Rush, Ky., and Richard Ferguson of Pennsylvania; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
