Zetta Lorraine Browning
(August 23, 1927 - March 7, 2018)



Zetta Lorraine Browning, 90 years old, of Barboursville, went to her Heavenly home to be with Jesus on Saturday, April 7, 2018. She was born August 23, 1927, in Barboursville, a daughter of the late Carl and Ruby Dillon Hatfield of Barboursville. She graduated from Barboursville High School and after graduation went to work for the FBI in Washington, DC. She was a store manager for Sears Roebuck & Co. in Huntington and St. Clairsville, Ohio. She was a member of Christ Temple Church in Huntington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Browning of Barboursville and one son, Jack E. Browning II. She is survived by three children, Teresa Ferguson-Crossan (Emerson) of Huntington, Gloria Jean Browning Thompson (Earl) of Louisville, KY and Charles Browning (Diane) of Huntington; grandchildren, Tootie Ferguson-Robinson (Jeremy) of Huntington, Daniel Ferguson of Huntington, Matthew Thompson (Joelle Martinec) of Los Angeles, CA, Noel Moore (Patrick) of Lexington, KY, Jack E. Browning III of Santa Monica, CA, and Chris Enix of Prichard, WV; great-grandchildren, Trenton, Dylan and Gavin Enix of Prichard and Riley Harper Thompson of Los Angeles, CA; brother Bill (Anna) Hatfield of Huntington; and two sisters-in-law, Betty Kay Wentz and EmmaLee Browning. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Abbey of Devotion, Huntington. Pastor Dwight Mays from Christ Temple and Pastor Bill Blankenship of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church will be officiating. Visitation will be hour prior to the service.
