Eleaner Jean Swann
(February 14, 1937 - April 23, 2018)



Eleaner Jean Swann, 81, of Barboursville, WV, died April 23, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018, at Wallace Funeral Home, in Barboursville, by Dr. Jerry Warren. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Eleaner was born February 14, 1937, in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late James D. and Addie Lucas Thompson. She was retired from Cabell County Public School System, having served as secretary at Milton and Cabell Midland High Schools. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Jackson Swann; two sisters and their husbands, Norma and Leo Black, and Melvena Rowe Keeney; her first husband, Donald Rowe, and her second husband, Leland Keeney; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jack and Zama Swann; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Walter and Gladys Swann and Harold D. and Lillian Swann. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, James Wesley Swann and Daniel Eugene and Gina T. Swann; one grandson, Eli Jacks on Swann, all of Barboursville; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John M. And Mary Swann of Barboursville, and James A. And Alicia Swann of Columbia, SC. In addition, surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
