Robert "Bob" Norman Foster
(April 6, 1949 - April 29, 2018)



Robert “Bob” Norman Foster, 69, of Huntington, W.Va., son of the late Julian Norman and Hilda Gray (Bostic) Foster went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. A lifelong passion for cars and equipment lead to a 37 year career at Walker Machinery and Equipment Depot. Neighbors and friends could always count on his expertise for their installation and repair of their heating and air conditioning systems. Retirement meant family, friends and fishing. Bob also had a lifelong calling to help anyone in need and helped out countless people. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am. Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by Pastor Joseph Smith. Burial will be in the Eplin Family Cemetery, East Lynn, W.Va. He was born April 6, 1949 in Clifton Forge, VA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Lynn (Merritt) Foster and his son Joshua Robert Foster. He is survived by his beloved life partner, Diana Nida, his self-adopted mother Mrs. Ray, his sister, Sharon Schofield of Columbus, Ohio, brother, Ronnie (Teresa) Foster of Fleming Island, Florida, one uncle Forrest (Cueball) Foster, four aunts, Ina Llewellyn, Betty Snellings, Maxine Carmoney, Janice Asay and a hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday May 1, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. The family would like to thank the St Mary’s Medical ICU especially RN Katie Miller and the staff at Hospice House.
