Roy V. Bias
(April 25, 1929 - July 12, 2009)



Roy V. Bias, 80, of Huntington, WV, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009, in St. Mary�s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, July 16, 2009, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Edwin S. Harper officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. He was born April 25, 1929 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Golden Hayes and Bertha Ethel Holly Bias. His wife, Janice Lee Corns Bias, and a sister, Bessie Marie Mayes, preceded him in death. He was retired and former Production Supervisor for Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company with 29 years of service and he attended New Life Victory. Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Joe Spangler of Huntington; a son, Roy Bias, Jr. of Huntington; two grandchildren, Janenna Spangler and Billy Joe Spangler, Jr. and his wife, Amanda, all of Huntington; and four great grandchildren, Brooklyn Spangler, Landon Spangler, Breanna Leigh Smith, and Kaylynn Sue Spangler, all of Huntington.
