Glenda Jean Copeland

Glenda Jean Copeland, 58, of Calabash, NC, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 20, 2009. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Jerry W. Copeland; daughters, Kimberly Dawn Copeland of Huntington, WV and Penny Joiner of Clarksville, TN; sons-in-law, Jeff Joiner and Ray Nolan; four beautiful grandchildren whom she adored, Ashley Joiner, Shelby Jean Joiner, Makena Corrinne Booth and Nicholas Nolan; and brothers, Ken Jones of Water Valley, KY and family and Morrison-Glynn Williamson of Hickman, KY and family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Betty Glidewell Williamson and Ernest "Junior" Jones; her sister, Brenda Martin; and brother, James "Muskie" Jones (Bubba). She was a member of First Baptist Church in Little River, SC. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 AM Friday, July 24, 2009, at River Cities Community Church, Huntington, with Rev. Mark Houser officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, July 23, 2009, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington and after 9:00 AM Friday at the church.
