Juanita M. Carroll, 86, of Winchester, KY., formerly of Huntington, WV, died Wednesday October 7, 2009 in Winchester. Funeral service will be private. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Juanita was born January 17, 1923 in Logan County, WV the daughter of the late Thomas & Evelyn Smith Dean. She was a retired Social Worker from the Southwestern Community Council and a member of the Grace Gospel Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Destil Carroll. Survivors include 3 daughters Deanna Smith & husband Darrell of Huntington, Patty Kish of Winchester, KY., Debbie Vitiello & husband Sal of Ashland, KY., 1 son Larry Carroll & wife Pat of Broadway, NC, 8 grandchildren Sherri, Stephanie, Susan, Christina, Larry, Melissa Anthony, and Jeff, 11 great-grandchildren Daniel Rebekah, Josh, Hannah, Abigail, Tanner, Lauren, Alexis, Blake, Jacob, and Dylan. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington is assisting the family.
