Mrs. Kathryne Elizabeth "Katy" Gollihue, 28, of Grayson, KY., wife of Jason Allen Gollihue, passed away Friday, October 2, 2009, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born December 10, 1980 in Huntington, WV. She was a student at the Huntington School of Beauty Culture. She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Travis Ewing Wells, Jr. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother and father Kim and Steven Ross of Huntington; her 3 beautiful sons, Peter John, Jason Allen, and Tristan Ewing; her father Richard Barbour, II of Florida; her sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Jeffery Barr and niece Julie-Ann, of Huntington; mother and father-in-law, Gaylord and Wanda Gollihue of Grayson, KY; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gayle and Sonya Gollihue and niece, Havanna, of Grayson, KY; grandmothers, Nancy Wells and Wanda Ross, and many other loving family members. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Chapman"s Mortuary, with Chad Hatfield officiating. Burial will be in Centenary Cemetery, Chesapeake, OH. Friends may call at Chapman's Mortuary after 11:30 AM Tuesday, October 6, 2009.
