Leota Farley

Leota Farley, 84, of Huntington, widow of Virgil Farley, passed away Wednesday October 7, 2009 at her residence. She was born August 29, 1925, in Milton, WV a daughter of the late Frank and Nora Davis Powers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sons, Johnny Allen Johnson, Freddy Eugene Johnson, and an infant son, David Johnson. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Terry Asbury of Huntington; a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Mary Johnson of Wheeling, WV; sister, Emogene Richmond of Huntington; brother, Roy Powers of Milton; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 PM Saturday October 10, 2009 at Chapman's Mortuary with Ernie Ritchie officiating. Burial will be in Ball Cemetery, Milton.
