Gregory Lynn Barrett

Gregory Lynn Barrett, 50, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday January 27, 2010 at his residence. He was born January 20, 1960 in Huntington, a son of William L. and Bonnie Jane Mathes Barrett of Huntington. He was a master electrician having worked for Riedel Wilks Building Structures. In addition to his parents survivors include a brother and his daughter, Jeff Barrett of Proctorville and Tonya Dean; a wife, Dee Barrett of Huntington; son, Shane Barrett of Milton; daughter, Samantha Nichols of Florida; step-daughter, Eyvonne Mabry of Huntington; step-son, Ricky Mabry, Jr. and wife, Kerrie of Hamlin, WV; five grandchildren, Summer, Kody, Christopher, Nicholi, and Marylyn; a great grandchild, Blayne; two step-grandchildren; and a special friend, Gary Spitler of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM Sunday January 31, 2010 at Chapman's Mortuary, with the Rev. Richard Sexton officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington. Friends may call after 1:00 PM Sunday at Chapman's Mortuary.
