Frances S. Ray
(May 18, 1931 - January 9, 2010)



Frances S. Ray, 78,of Huntington, wife of Ronald Lee Ray, passed away Saturday January 9, 2010 in St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born May 18, 1931in Wayne County, WV, a daughter of the late Odell and Lennie Lee Campbell Sullivan. A daughter, Pam Perry and two sons, Bob Ray and Ronnie Ray, also preceded her in death. She graduated from Wayne High School and was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. In addition to her husband survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, Sheila and Dan Smith of Aubrey, TX, Sandra and Steve Carico and Kimberly and Kevin Pike, all of Huntington, and Shelly Ray of Proctorville, OH; five sons and a daughter-in-law, Sam and Sandy Ray and Russell Ray, all of Barboursville, John Ray of Lavalette, and Marc Ray and Tom Ray, both of Huntington; son-in-law, Eddie Perry of South Point, OH; daughter-in-law, Debbie Ray of Huntington; brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Helen Sullivan of Huntington; 14 grandchildren, Aaron Ray, Jason Perry, Amanda Sammons, Jessica Smith, Susan Smith, Sara Smith, Bethanie Carico, Mike Carico, Michele Ray, Kevin Stapleton, Josh Ray, Kevin Pike, Samantha Pike, and Brandon Ray; and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday January 13, 2010 at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Jeff Black officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may call after 1:00 PM Wednesday at Chapman's Mortuary.
