 Blake , John G. "Butch"
(November 20, 1937 - January 18, 2010)



John G. "Butch" Blake, 72, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, January 18, 2010, in the the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, January 22, 2009, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Danny Roberts officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, with Military Graveside Rites conducted by VFW Post 9738.. Butch was born November 20, 1937 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Ben and Mae Russell Blake. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Bias; and brothers and sisters. He was a retired truck driver for Conrad Produce and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Survivors include: his wife, Mae Blake; two daughters, Imogene Holley of Proctorville, OH and Brenda Barrett of Huntington; a son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Cassie Blake of Huntington; seven grandchildren, Thomas, Tammy, John, Stephanie, Sam, Christina, and a very special granddaughter, Nikki Jo; several great grandchildren; and several brothers, sisters, nieces an nephews. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Chapman's Mortuary.
