Randy Clay Hager
(August 15, 1954 - January 7, 2010)



Randy Clay Hager, 55, of Huntington, WV passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 7, 2010. Randy was born on August 15, 1954 in Huntington, WV, son of the late Thelmer Hager and Silvia Green Hager. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Hager Davis; brother, David Michael Hager; niece, Glenda Tarpley; and two nephews, Jonathon Tarpley and Mark Hager. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Carla Coffman Hager; his son, Derek Hager of Huntington; two stepdaughters, Erin White of Huntington, and Kelli Young of Washington, DC; a sister, Phyllis Hager Tarpley and husband Edward Tarpley of Wayne; brother Glenn Hager and wife Bellena Hager of Huntington; niece, Deanna Hager of Huntington; and nephew, Glenn Hager Jr. of Huntington, father-in-law, Carl Coffman & Randy's special friend Nancy Bailey both of Huntington. Randy was an employee of Heiner's Bakery and an avid sports fan in his leisure time. He was a devoted husband, father and brother. We love you Randy. You will be missed. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2010 at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, WV, by Brother Rodney Hale. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington WV. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday January 10, 2010 at Chapman's Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
