Harry Fulks
(July 29, 1932 - January 22, 2010)


Mr. Harry Fulks, 77, of Huntington, widower of Myrletta Frye Fulks, died Friday, January 22, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday January 26th, 2010 at the Rock of Ages Baptist Church, where he was a member, with Rev Buddy Muncy and Rev. Jim Beaver officiating. Entombment will be in Christus Chapel, White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born July 29, 1932, in Huntington, a son of the late James J. and Jessica Winters Fulks. He was a former employee of Houdaille Industries, and a veteran with the US Army, serving in Korea, and was a POW. He was a member of VFW Post # 9738, whose members will conduct Military Graveside Rites, a member of Minerva Lodge #13 AF & AM, whose members will also conduct Masonic Graveside Rites. Harry was a 32nd Degree Mason. He is survived by a daughter and son-in law, Lila and Denny Williams, of Wayne, WV, 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Dwight "Dusty" Fulks and his companion, Donna Mills, Jeremiah and Kim Fulks all of Barboursville, WV, grandchildren; Justin Morrison, Jeffrey Ray Fulks, Michael Fulks, and Gavin LeMaster, and great grandchildren; Mackenzie Fulks, Matthew Fulks, Orian Fulks, Gabby Anderson, Kalei Thacker, Chloe Thacker, and very special friends, James (a fellow POW) and Gladys Beaver, of Abingdon, VA. Friends may visit with the family after 11:00 am Tuesday, January 26, 2010 the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, or Hospice .
