Margaret Earnestine Pledger
(May 26, 1930 - August 15, 2012)

Mrs. Margaret Earnestine Pledger, 82, of Brachland, WV, formerly of Arkansas, widow of Curtis Pledger, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at the home of her daughter. She was born May 26, 1930, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Delmar and Loretta Ward Moore. A daughter, Lora Jean Barrett, a sister, Colleen Heck, and a brother, Marlin Moore also preceded her in death. She retired from Cargil Company as an inspector. Surviving are 4 daughters; Joyce Fitzpatrick of Indianapolis, IN, Trudy Hatten of Branchland, WV, Margie Deal of Huntington, Lynn Serrino of Springdale, AK; 2 sons, Leon Minnick of Australia, Randy Pledger of Medford, Oregon; 3 brothers, Jennings Moore and Danny Moore, both of Huntington, and Dale Moore, of Arkansas; 22 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. The family will remember Margaret and a memorial service at a later date. Chapman’s Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
