Paul David Watters
(December 20, 1955 - August 12, 2012)



Paul David Watters, 56, of South Point, OH, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012. Paul was born in Huntington, WV on December 20, 1955 to the late Lewis “Red” and Betty Sexton Watters. Paul was also preceded in death by his son-in-law, Theodore “Tuc” Church and his brother-in-law, Scott E. Payton. Survivors include:his wife, Billie Noel Watters; his two daughters, Mariesha Watters and Mindi Church; the mother of his children, Marcinda Watters Mers; two step children, Stephanee Hymes (Kyle) and Ricky Dickerson (Melissa); six grandchildren, Maryn and Dorian Church, Taylor and Andrew Eplion, and Jadyn and Drayton Dickerson; two brothers, Michael (Thelma) Watters and Keith (Judy) Watters; two sisters, Martha Payton and Carolyn and very close brother-in-law Rich Collins; several nieces and nephews; and two very special nephews, Justin and Shawn (Brotha Man) Collins. Paul worked for Enterprise Transportation and was a member of Christ Temple Church. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the “Church CAMP Fund” at Christ Temple Church, 2400 Johnstown Road, Huntington, WV 25701. This ministry was very close to Paul’s heart. Viewing will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, and after noon Thursday, August 16, 2012, at Christ Temple. The funeral will be conducted by Pastor Chuck Lawrence at Christ Temple Church on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock, WV.
