Alfonzo Dale Sullivan
(February 6, 1934 - August 10, 2012)



Alfonzo Dale Sullivan, 78, of Huntington, husband of Helen Hale Sullivan, passed away Friday August 10, 2012 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born February 6, 1934 in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late Odell and Lennie Campbell Sullivan. In addition to his parents a sister, Frances Ray; and his younger brother, Jerry Ival Sullivan preceded him in death. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, retired from Kenny Queen Hardware, and was a small engine mechanic. Additional survivors include his two sons and their families; James Robert "Rob", Treva, and Stephanie Sullivan, and Steven Dale, Trina, Analyn, and Robert Sullivan; a brother-in-law, Ronald Ray; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Graveside services with military honors preformed by, W.V. Veterans Honor Guard Post 16, will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday August 14, 2021, at Plybon Cemetery, with Pastor Bill Blankenship officiating. Friends may call 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
