Violet "Boots" Cooper Albright
(December 7, 1930 - March 9, 2012)



Violet “Boots” Cooper Albright, 81, of Huntington, WV, passed away Friday, March 9, 2012, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. She was born December 7, 1930 in Branchland, WV, a daughter of the late Elihue and Ada Priscilla Burks Cooper. She was a seamstress for Corbin Ltd. and a member of her son’s, Cliff Hager, church, Deliverence Tabernacle, and attended Bible Apostolic. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Sherman Albright of Huntington; seven children and spouses, Louise and Gary Webb of Proctorville, OH, Judy Altizer of Lavalette, WV, Bonnie Altizer, Cliff A. and Vivian Hager, Timothy Hager, Priscilla and Keith Lawson, and Chris Albright, all of Huntington; grandchildren and spouses, Donna and Tom Morton of Proctorville, OH, Kennette and Wayne Wright of Bonneau, SC, Kenny and Tina Kiesel of Kenova, WV, Cindy Altizer Sims of Huntington, Lora Altizer of Kenova, Anita Albright of Poca, WV, Terra and Mike Martin of Hanging Rock, OH, Andy Tackett of Barboursville, WV, Anita and Russell Blankenship of Chesapeake, OH, Kenneth and Amanda Tackett of Beauford, SC, Danielle and David High of South Point, OH, Billy McCallister of Huntington, Michael Hart of Huntington, Whitney Hager of Huntington, Brayden Hager of Huntington, and Stephanie Basenback of Fort Gay, WV; many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A very special “thanks” goes out to Al Hager; her great granddaughter, Ashley Nichols; and her friends, and loved ones. Funeral services will be conducted 7:30 PM Monday, March 12, 2012, at Apostolic Life Cathedral, Huntington, with Pastor David Fairburn and Pastor Edwin S. Harper officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 PM Monday at the church. Committal service will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Barboursville.
