Michael Allen Runyon

Michael Allen Runyon, 59, of Huntington, WV, died Thursday March 29, 2012 in the V.A. Medical Center. Memorial funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday April 5, 2012 at the White Chapel Mausoleum, White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, with Pastor Ken Toler officiating. Mike was born August 16, 1952 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Norman & Marina Chapman Runyon. He worked in construction & was in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Eagles Club 2320, & V.F.W. Post 1064 whose members will conduct military graveside rites. He was preceded in death by two half brothers; Larry & Danny Chapman. Survivors include his beloved son Chris Runyon & wife Traci of Milton, one sister; Norma Frazier & husband Mike of Huntington, three brothers; Steve Runyon & wife Sandy & Tommy Runyon all of Chesapeake, OH, & Rick Runyon of Huntington, three grandchildren; Quentin, Chrissa & Morgan Runyon, two nieces; Leesa Marcum & Misty Sowards. Friends may call after 12:30 PM Thursday at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the V.F.W. Post 1064, 920 7th Ave. Huntington, WV 25701.
