Johnny McKenzie 58, of Huntington died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm Friday, March 9, 2012, at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Pastor Jerry Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Caroline Cemetery, Greenup, KY. He was born September 26, 1953, in Boyd County, KY, a son of the late Roy and Louise McKenzie. Several siblings also preceded him in death. He was a retired firefighter from Grayson, KY, and attended Crook Chapel Church. Survivors include the love of his life, Debbie Ray of Huntington; two daughters, Beth McKenzie of Ashland, KY and Alice Copley of Huntington; a son Aaron Ray of Huntington; 6 grandchildren, Jeremy McKenzie, Morgan Adkins, Adam Copley, Trevor Copley, Aaron Copley and Madison Copley all of Huntington. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
