Bonnie Fay McFarlane

Bonnie Fay McFarlane, 90, of Huntington, widow of Haney B. McFarlane, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Pastor Tim Arthur officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Memory Gardens, Maher, WV, with a 4:00 pm committal. She was born June 16, 1922, in Murphy, VA, a daughter of the late James H. and Cora E. Thomas Hargis. A son, James McFarlane also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of 26th Street Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara McFarlane of Huntington, and Cora and Richard Hight of Kennedale, TX; two grandchildren, Lisa Ritz of Grand Prairie, TX, and Joshua and Miranda Hight of Kennedale, TX; and two great-grandchildren, Jacoby and Abigail Hight. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
