Obituary



Lester (Leo) Mannon, 79, of Huntington, WV, left this life on December 3, 2016 from the effects of Dementia. Funeral service will be conducted 6:00 PM Wednesday December 7, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Kenny Seeley officiating. Leo was born in Lawrence County Ohio on February 4, 1937. He was the son of the late James Lester Mannon and Mandy Brown Beck. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Mannon and daughter, Michelle Mannon Macri, also four sisters and one brother, Margaret Seeley (Ray), Geraldine Maxson, Garland Mannon, Bonnie Coleman (Tim), Shirley Winner (Dennis) also surviving are many nieces, nephew and cousins. Leo retired from Painters Local 813. He played softball and basketball for Mt Union Methodist Church and coached Little League Baseball. Also he was a member of Southern WV Beagle Club for many years. Thanks to everyone who helped throughout the years and especially Jack and Christy Kelly for their loving care of Leo and a big thanks to Hospice of Huntington. Leo had a great sense of humor and his beaming smile will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Hospice of Huntington.
