Sonya Carol Miller, 82, of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. A celebration of life will be held 6:00 pm Friday, December 16, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary. She was born April 19, 1934, in New Philadelphia, OH, a daughter of the late Wesley M. and Alta Mae LeMasters Ripley. She retired from Kay Jewelers in sales. Survivors include four daughters, Jennelle and Jerry Nelson of Ona, WV, Sherrie and Kim Barber of Orient, OH, Robin Saunders of Glenwood, WV, and Cammie and Davis Scott of Onancock, VA; one son, Bruce and Darlene Miller of Glenwood, WV; one brother and his wife, Dr. Gary Ripley and Jeri of Proctorville, OH; the father of her children, Robert S. Miller; her companion of 25 years, Bill Beech; 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to service time Friday at the funeral home.
