Anna M. "Aunt Annie" Adams
January 7, 1920 - May 2, 2009



Anna E. "Aunt Annie" Estep Adams, 89, of Huntington, passed away Saturday evening, May 2, 2009 at home with her family by her side. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Chapman's Mortuary, with Pastor Greg Tomblinson of Jefferson Avenue Church of God officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Anna was born January 7, 1920 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Pearl and Bertha Beck Estep. Her husband Earl B. Adams, a sister, Sylvia Harrison, and two brothers, Herschell Estep and Louie Estep also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker for the past 30 years, and her love was to go shopping. She was Pentecostal by faith. A brother and his wife, Frank and Jackie Estep; special nieces and caregivers, Phyllis Spurlock, Mary Clagg and Paula Cremeans, survive her. She also leaves behind many other nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. A special thanks to Ronnie Deal for his compassion and caring over the years, and to her boyfriend David, who always made her laugh. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. The family would like to say many thanks to hospice of Huntington
