Ireene Blevins

Mrs. Ireene Blevins, 87, of Huntington, widow of Oscar G. Blevins, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2910, at the Huntington Health and Rehab Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Ridgelawn Abbey of Devotion with Ernest M. Ritchie officiating, with burial to follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born January 20, 1923, a daughter of the late William Delbert and Myrtle DeHart Sanders. She was a retired secretary with Princess Coal Sales. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Blevins. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Ritchie and Judy Blevins, of Huntington, a sister Mabel Carter, also of Huntington, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grand children, 4 great great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends may call from 6 pm until 8 pm, Saturday January 30, 2010 at Chapman's Mortuary and after 10:45 a, Sunday January 31,2010 at Ridgelawn Memorial Park.
