Richard Carl Chew, 58, of Kenna, WV, passed away Monday, January 25, 2010, in Veterans Administration Medical Center, Huntington. He was born September 7, 1951 in Cape May Court House, NJ , son of the late James and Thelma Caroline Newell Chew. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include: daughters, Carol Chew-Smith and her husband, Jason of New Castle, PA and Karen Chew-Burmylo and her husband, Thomas of Bellmawr, NJ; son, James and his wife, Karen Chew of Niantic, IL; Elizabeth of Franklinville, NJ, Albert of Vineland NJ, and William of Laurel Springs NJ ; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Sisters, Phyllis Neri , Rosanne Stippick, Barbara Gibbs, and Shirley Burke, and brothers, James, Charles, and Floyd Chew. A brother, Harvey Chew, also preceded him in death. There will be a memorial service at a later date. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
