Ezra "Bud" Midkiff, Jr.

Ezra "Bud" Midkiff, Jr., 60, of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at his residence. He was born February 5, 1949 in Logan County, WV a son of the late Ezra Midkiff, Sr. and Jewell Holbrook Midkiff. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Midkiff. He was a laborer for Barboursville Block. Survivors include: two daughters, Shannon Midkiff of Huntington and Jewell Ann Whisman of East Lynn, WV; three step daughters, Ashley Sweeny, Valerie Bills, and Kimberly Sweeny all of Huntington; eight grandchildren; five sisters, Minnie Browning of West Hamlin, WV, Brenda Midkiff of Little Harts, WV, Perdita McNeely of Bulan, KY, and Lilly Jones and Jean Moore, both of Harts, WV; and a brother, Lowell Midkiff of Harts. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday at Holbrook Cemetery, Elliott County, KY with Jackie Lee Midkiff and Earmin Lee Midkiff officiating. Friends may call at the cemetery from 1:30 to 2:00 PM Friday. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family
