Mozelle Emogene Spurlock
(April 18. 1916 - January 21, 2010)

Mozelle Emogene Spurlock, 93, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday January 21, 2010 at Heritage Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday January 24, 2010, at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor David Blake officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born April 18, 1916 in Lesage, WV, a daughter of the late Edgar and Etta Mount Berry. Others preceding her in death are a daughter, Beverly Sharon Berman; son, Larry Azel Spurlock; three sisters, Garnet Shepherd, Helen Clary, and Mable Spurlock; two grandsons, Brett Spurlock and Joseph Blatt; and a great granddaughter, Connie Holmes. Mozelle was a caring mother and a LPN having worked at both the C & O Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jeannine and Herman Bloss and Carolyn and Thad Blatt, all of Huntington; a son, Bradley K. Spurlock of Magnolia, TX; 18 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. The family wishes that expressions of sympathy be made to a charity of their choice in Mozelle's name. Friends may call 7:00-8:30 PM Saturday at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington.
