Karen Gayle Midkiff, 74, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday August 10, 2011 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born March 31, 1937 in Salt Rock, WV a daughter of the late Levi L. and Ethel Holton Midkiff. A brother, Leslie Roger “Rod” Midkiff also preceded her in death. Karen was a member of the Hand of God Baptist Church of Huntington and a retired legal secretary for the former Marshall and St. Clair Law Firm. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Virginia Midkiff of Huntington; a niece, Robin Littell, her husband, Randy, and son, Robert, all of Huntington; a nephew, Jeff Midkiff of Salt Rock; and several cousins. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday August 12, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary and burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. Friends may call after 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
