Inas Lynette "Lynn" Watts
(December 21, 1932 - August 9, 2011)



Inas Lynette “Lynn” Watts, 78, of Kenova, WV, loving wife, mother, sister, and “Nanny”, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, August 12, 2011, at Philadelphia United Baptist Church, Lavalette, WV, with Elder Don Napier, Elder Glen K. Williamson, and Elder Ray Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne, WV. She was born December 21, 1932 in Pt. Pleasant, WV a daughter of the late William Eugene and Lorena Hall Riffle. A daughter, Verena Paulette Watts and a brother, Michael Ray Riffle, also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and was a member of Philadelphia United Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Paul B. Watts, with whom she would have celebrated 62 years of marriage on the 18th of August; twin sons, Garry Eugene Watts of Huntington and Larry Charles Watts of Kenova; a daughter, Lynda Jane Ackert of Littleton, CO; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Heck Watts of Ceredo, WV; a son-in-law, Gary A. Ackert of Littleton, CO; a sister, Jane Galloway of Kenova, WV; a brother, William “Bill” Riffle of Monroe, NC; seven grandchildren, Garry II, Brian, Eric, Jennifer, Larry Joe, Amy and Tyler; and eight great grandchildren, Abigail, Emilee, Landon, Zack, Evan, Brody, Haley Jo, and Paige. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 11, 2011, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, and after noon Friday at the church.
