Mabel Louise Lemons

Mabel Louise Lemons, 90, of Franklin TN, formerly of Huntington, WV, widow of Harry N. Lemons, Jr., died Friday June 3, 2011 in Williamson Medical Center, Franklin, TN. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 pm Friday, June 10, 2011 at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington with Jim Franklin officiating. Burial will be in Dock’s Creek Cemetery Kenova. She was born November 11, 1920 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Floyd Homer and Sadie Pratt McKeand. In addition to her husband, two sons Kenneth and David Lemons also preceded her in death. She retired from the registrar’s office at Marshall University. Survivors include: one son, Gregory A. Lemons; two grandchildren, Evan and Katie Lemons all of Franklin; a sister, Doris Manning of Cary, NC; and a brother, Floyd McKeand, Jr., of Oahu, HI. Friends may call one hour prior to service time Friday at the funeral home.
