Brenda Ann Comer
(September 7, 1945 - November 27, 2013)

Our beloved mother, sister, aunt, and best friend Brenda Ann Comer, 68, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Brenda was born September 7, 1945 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Allen Watson and Catherine Watson. She was a past member of Highlawn Baptist Church and was employed many years as a pediatric nurse for the late Dr. Bruce Martin. She retired after 25 years of nursing at St. Mary’s Outpatient Surgery, where she was a blessing to everyone for whom she cared. She is survived by two beloved sons, Brad (Lizz) Comer of Columbus, OH and Brian Comer of Huntington; a sister, Kathy Gillette of Huntington; nephew Todd (Adrienne) Gillette of South Point, OH and their children Marleigh and Maribel Gillette of South Point, OH and Lexis Church of Ashland, KY; and niece Emily Thacker of Huntington and her children, Zac Gillette and Katie Beth Thacker. She was loved by so many. An angel was taken from us way too soon. Lord carry us with your love; guide us by your grace. We will walk in memories of the heart until we all are reunited again with our sweet Bebe. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Monday, December 2, 2013, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Jerry Chapman officiating. Entombment will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until noon Monday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
