Rosemary Webb Dillon
(September 3, 1924 - November 15, 2013)



Rosemary Webb Dillon, 89, of Chesapeake, Ohio, went to be with our Lord on Friday, November 15, 2013, at her home surrounded by family. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 18, 2013, at 2:00 pm at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, West Virginia. Reverend Bill DeMoss and Reverend Steve Hamrick will conduct services. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, West Virginia. Rosemary was born September 3, 1924 in Huntington, West Virginia, she is the daughter of the late Garnet Webb Cashman. She attended Community of Grace United Methodist Church in Huntington, West Virginia. She was a retired secretary of the Chesapeake Board of Education, Chesapeake, Ohio, where she worked for 30 years. In addition to her mother, her sister, Betty Cashman, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Kenneth Phil Dillon; one daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Steve Waggoner of Chesapeake, Ohio; two grandchildren that she cherished and whom cherished her, Sarah Rose Nibert and her husband, Dr. Dallas Nibert of Huntington, West Virginia and Seth Dillon Waggoner of Chesapeake, Ohio; and three very special friends, Gretta and Kohn Whitley of Chesapeake, Ohio and Alma Keeney of Huntington, West Virginia. Visitation will be Sunday, November 17, 2013, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her favorite charity, The Ronald McDonald House of Huntington, West Virginia.
