Bertha Louise Adkins
(September 15, 1932 - February 26, 2015)

B. Louise Adkins, 82, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015, in Huntington Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, March 2, 2015, at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Pastor Ray Vance officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. She was born September 15, 1932, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Maurice and Bertha Cremeans Wentz. Her husband, Wilson Van Adkins, Sr., and one son Darrin K. Adkins also preceded her in death. She was a retired independent insurance agent. Survivors include; two daughters, Margo Adkins of Huntington, Angela and Jay Whitney of Phoenix, AZ; two sons, Wilson Adkins, Jr., of Phoenix, AZ, William “Bill” and Debbie Adkins of Huntington; one step-son, Michael Adkins of Chesapeake, OH; one brother, Charles Maurice and Minnie Wentz of Proctorville, OH;, 7 grandchildren, Aimee, Deric, Delana, Joshua, Trevan, Michael and Camrin;, and 9 great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the funeral home.
