Obituary

Howard Junior Clark
(September 25, 1930 - February 15, 2015)


Howard Junior Clark, 84, of South Point, OH, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. He was born September 25, 1930 in Ferrelsburg, Lincoln County, WV a son of the late Lester and Angeline Watson Clark. His wife, Wanda June Wroten Clark; a son, Roger Lee Clark; two sisters, Alma Adkins and Luvenia McMellon; and four brothers, Clyde, Ezra, Vernon, and Leslie Clark, also preceded him in death. He was a former driver for Ford Motor Company in Michigan and was a brakeman for six years for the C & O Railroad. He was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Lavalette, WV. Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Steven and Emma Jane Clark of Santa Monica, CA, Anthony Howard Clark of Lesage, WV, and Lester William and Emelda Clark of California; a daughter, Anita Lou Clark of Troy, NY; 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Elder Ray Williamson officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Prichard Dial Cemetery, Branchland, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
