Larry Eugene Gillispie
(January 27, 1947 - February 10, 2015)

Larry Eugene Gillispie, 68, of Lesage, WV, died Tuesday February 10, 2015 in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Friday February 13, 2015 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Gordon Rutherford officiating. Burial will be in Greenbottom Memorial Park. Larry was born January 27, 1947 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Ivan Joe Gillispie and Rhoda Gillispie Oldaker. He was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Vicky Gillispie, three sisters, Nettie Bell, Patty and Jackie and one brother, Ivan. Survivors include his wife, Mary “Linda” Harper Gillispie, one daughter, Becky Kolek & husband Mike of Lockport, NY, three sons, Steve Ivers & wife Rita of Columbus, OH, Larry Gillispie II & friend Lisa and Andy Gillispie all of Lesage, two sisters, Anna June Beaver of Lesage, & Arlene Gray of Glenwood, 16 grandchildren, Stevie, Leeza, Christina, Michelle, Mary Ella, Cari, Casarina, Matthew, Peyton, Nick, Logan, Haley, Emily, Lily, Gracie and Alyssa and one great grandson, Connor. Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary after 10:00 AM on Friday February 13, 2015.
